Privacy

Short version: GatherAligned has no accounts and no server database. Saved events stay in your own browser. If you join the newsletter, your email goes to our newsletter provider, Buttondown.

What is stored, and where

• Saved events and reminders are stored in your browser’s local storage on this device. They are not sent to us.
• Calendar files (.ics) are created in your browser and downloaded to your device. Any reminders live in your own calendar app.
• Newsletter: if you sign up, your email (and first name, if you give it) goes to Buttondown, the service that sends our weekly email. Buttondown sends a confirmation email first, and you can unsubscribe from any email.
• Event submissions currently save only in your browser. If online submission is added, this page will be updated first.

Analytics and cookies

No analytics, advertising trackers or third-party cookies are used. If privacy-friendly analytics are added later (coming soon), they’ll be listed here first.

Links to other sites

Event links go to organizers’ own sites, book links go to Amazon or thealignedlifeseries.com, and newsletter signups go to Buttondown. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Clearing your data

You can remove saved events on the Saved page, or clear this site’s data in your browser settings.
